In the closing remarks of the Chairman for Zone five, Mr. Eric Nyarkoh (Guy Guy) he asked that all schools in the zone emulate the discipline standards set by his school, AMASS, to see to a peaceful and successful host and win  2024 competition.  He thanked all teachers, coaches, officials, athletes and students for a successful competition.

The Secretary of the Zone, Mr Ampofi thanked all for a successful competition and prayed for even more spectacular show come next year.

It is good to note that this organized competition in our schools is a sure way to harness the hidden talents of our young ones. It is promising to hope for the best for the zone during the central region super zonals athletics competition. It is my hope that the athletes in the coming year be given the needed environment or venue to allow them use running shoes so as to unearth their full potentials. Again, some schools in the zone did not participate in the competition for whatever reason. These schools must be sanctioned by the zone and the region for absenting themselves in this all important event. The question is, what becomes of the talents in those schools? Wasted. I think. We can do better for these young talents if not for themselves, then for their schools or the region.  What about the need for talents to feed the national teams? We can all do better at this. We at the blog want to wish Zone 5 the beat in the upcoming super zonal competition.
